I've been trying to find a fiction novel and I can't remember the title. The plot is about a group of hunters on a guided whitetail hunt in Northern Canada. The area has not been open to hunting for several years. It is a murder mystery involving someone who is methodically hunting and killing the hunters. A Native AAmerican woman is among the hunters and is trying to figure out who the killer is. The book was recommended by David Morris in a previous edition of North American Whitetail several years ago. I read it once and would like to read it agai
My kids have a Wii and they asked me for Big Buck Hunter for Christmas. I've seen the arcade at the bar but I've never played it. I'm wondering how realistic it is? Or does it just distort hunting and make it seem like one giant slaughterfest? I want my kids, both boys under 10, to eventually go out hunting with me but I don't want them getting a distorted impression before they even begin.
I'm curious to know what kind of watch, if any, people use while hiking/hunting. I haven't worn a watch since I was a kid but I'm going to start ditching my smart phone at home since I find it too distracting and bulky. I just ordered a Casio with built-in altimeter, barometer, and thermometer. I don't even know what I need an altimeter for, but it sounds cool. :sabre:
I sort of left it in the spring when the spammers moved in. Looks like NAW has a new website and the user forums were left behind?
In the early 90s (probably 91, 92, or 93), there was an article about the Bee Jay Jordan buck, 194 Typical from Missouri. Can anyone help me identify exactly which issue this was in? Thanks.
