But you want to, let me know and I'll get it bumped back up on the first page. I'm not sure how/why they got dropped, but I'll do what I can to get them reactivated.
Rut activity picking up. Watched a young buck make 2 scrapes on morning of Oct. 28th. Watched 5 different does hit the same scrape. 2 on the morning of Oct. 29th and 3 the evening of Oct. 30th. Leaving Nov. 3rd for 12 day bow hunt in Adams and Brown counties in Illinois. This will be my 23rd year in a row in these 2 awesome Illinois counties, due to health reasons this may be my last. Enjoy enjoy your hunts they dont last forever.
Is there no way to keep these spammer SOBs off this site? They have almost completely killed it and thats a shame. If the admins cannot deal with it could we get some proffessional IT help?
Until we get this figured out -
you can copy and past these urls into a new browser, book mark, and you'll be good to go...
In the meantime, please feel free to start a new thread...I can see the threads on the back end, so I know they're not lost, it's just figuring out why they're not displaying...
Hunted last evening. Right at last shooting light I had what looked to be a pretty good buck pushing some does around. After sending a doe running off full tilt, he fed for a minute 35-40 yards in front of me. There were trees between us and I unfortunately I forgot my grunt call. I snort wheezed at him, but he ignored me and walked off in the direction of the does.
Anyone interested in following Kansas' lead and setting up a facebook page? The latest issues are about all I can deal with.
Noticed the board must have gone down again, appears to be back up but no specific Oklahoma, Kansas or Ohio forums. The Kansas & Ohio rut report forums were by far the most active before the spammers took over, Oklahoma was not as active but we had some semi regular posters and I enjoyed reading and following the Oklahoma Rut Report. WHAT GIVES?
I'm new to bow hunting and just got a Bengal compound bow. But that's it. I don't own any other gear. Specifically, my question is about wear. Do I need to get special clothing to go bow hunting. Obviously, I don't NEED it but do you recommend it is what I'm asking.
My kids have a Wii and they asked me for Big Buck Hunter for Christmas. I've seen the arcade at the bar but I've never played it. I'm wondering how realistic it is? Or does it just distort hunting and make it seem like one giant slaughterfest? I want my kids, both boys under 10, to eventually go out hunting with me but I don't want them getting a distorted impression before they even begin.
