Mike: As you might know, we've run several humor series in NAW over the years. WAY back there, in the '80s, we had Charley Dickey's tales of a fictitious Southern hunt club whose members were always after a particular ghost buck. Afterwards, we had some stories from a writer who went by the byline "Ace Taddler." We later had stories about two guys named Arnold and Waldo, as well as a series called the "The Mossyhorns Chronicles."
To my knowledge, none ever ended up in book form, though several of the folks who wrote these also have written books over the years. If you can give me more specifics, perhaps I can narrow down the author you're talking about.
Why are there stories about antelope and stag hunts on here? I thought this was a WHITETAIL rag. This is the exact same reason why I cancelled my BUCKMASTERS WHITETAIL Magazine subscription years ago.

The first one was what I wanted. Thank you.
