This is the place to post your observations about rutting activity in Louisiana or simply find out what other hunters are seeing in the woods. Be sure to tell us the area of the state, indicate the date of the observation and describe what you've seen "bucks chasing does, fresh scrapes, etc.".
Has anyone seen anything goin on down here yet??? I was wondering because i haven't just yet.
I am new to the forum. I am from Arizona and that is where I have done most of my hunting. But for the last couple of years I have been stationed at Fort Polk in Louisiana. I was wondering for those of you out there that live in the Louisiana, Mississippi area did you have much luck this year with the rut? I never saw any heavy rutting action at all. Yeah I found a few scrapes and rubs but not like usual. I am wondering if the hurricane caused a disturbence. Anyways hope everyone had a good year. Bowhuntraz
